Mas I Mas Festival. Music Chamber in Barcelona

The Mas I Mas Festival opened since the 30th of July, is bringing classical music in an historical building.

The festival would feature three sessions a day at 19, 20 and 21 hours with for every week three different programs: Mondays and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and Fridays and weekends. This festival will offer to the public a music chamber in Barcelona in august with 93 concerts in 31 sessions. The programation according to Monica Pagés is a balance between soloists and duets, as well as the presence of works by classical composers with contemporary pieces.

This festival is a good way to enjoy the site of the Pedrera, known also like Casa Milà, an emblematic bulding of Gaudí. You can discover it with the BGB Tour The Gaudi Tour which brings you to the Park Güell, the Façade of Casa Batlló and Casa Milà and to the Sagrada Família.

Two of the concerts are the highlights of the mezzo-soprano Claudia Schneider Akiko Nomoto accompanied with a review of the lied and the Spanish tenor Antoni Comas with pianist David Casanovas, with songs by Sergio Ortega, Josep Pere Puértolas, Alberto and Robert Gerhard Ginastera.

So go on and enjoy chamber music!
