Swing in Barcelona

At the end of September Barcelona is swinging! Until the 20th of  September you can enjoy the 7th Blues Festival. It first started in the district of Nou Barris but has now expanded to all districts of Barcelona.

Tonight you can enjoy the music of Ian Siegal Band, in the Polideportiu of Valldaura, an English blues man that has performed with Phil Guy, Sugar Blue and Nappy Brown.

This Saturday the CCCB (Centre of Contemporary Culture in Barcelona) organizes a jazz marathon in the framework of the exhibition “The Jazz Century”.From 6pm to 10pm different groups will, through their music, illustrate the evolution of this artistic current in Catalonia. The most genuine expression of jazz, the jam session, will round off this great festival. During the marathon, the entrance to the exposition “The Jazz Century” will be free.
