Tomorrow Tour in Barcelona.

For the second time in its history Tour de France stops in Catalonia. The sixth and the seventh stages will be finishing and starting in Barcelona.

The 9th of July, the stage between Gerona and Barcelona will finish at Montjuic at 17.00. Don’t forget to be in time for the yellow Mexican Wave! The town hall of Barcelona will hand out yellow sheets to everyone in the audience to illustrate the fervour of Barcelona with a huge yellow Mexican Wave.

More than 4.500 people are expected for the arrival. Just as the Montjuic Panoramic Tour, the 181 km stage will end on Avenida del Estadi close to the Olympic Village where you can enjoy spectacular views over the city.

The seventh stage starts at 09.15 on the 10th of July. The bunch will cycle along the most famous avenues of Barcelona such as Avenida Parallel, Paseo de Gracia and Gran Via de los Cortes Catalanes. Following the route of the cyclists you can appreciate every corner of Barcelona, just like a tourist tour.

The stage finishes at 2,240 metres in Arcalis, Andorra, making it the first real mountain stage and the highest in the Tour’s history. We will know which cyclists are among the first ones when the bunch enters Andorra.
