Visit the Barcelona International Motor Show this week

The 9th of May the Barcelona International Motor Show opened its doors and there is still time to enjoy it. This year the show celebrates its 90th birthday, and to celebrate that the show has been categorized as an “Event of Exceptional Public Interest” by the municipality of Barcelona. With its wide representation of automobile brands, almost all the car brands of the world will show their last improvements, this is a spectacle you cannot miss!

Although it’s a professional fair, the expositions and activities are open to the general public for 10€ a day ticket and it’s open from 10 AM to 8 PM every day. Apart from showing all the novelties of the sector, the event includes a wide program of technical conferences and an exposition of all the fair’s posters from 1919 to today. You can also drive Karts on a special circuit and see dynamic tests of both normal cars and 4×4.

Only this weekend more than 300.000 people has come to Barcelona to visit the pavilions of Montjuïc. Enrique Lacalle, the Show’s President, considers the amount of visitors to be a great success for the sector, which this year has suffered one of the major crisis of its history.
