The former president of the Catalan Autonomous Government (Generalitat de Catalunya) will visit the Montsant wine appellation (3rd March, 2009). The D.O. Montsant periodically invites personalities from the social, political and economic scene to get to know the wine appellation. Maragall willingly accepted the D.O.’s invitation

Pasqual Maragall will arrive in Falset around 11.30am and will continue immediately to El Masroig Co-operative winery. This visit will be followed by a tour of Joan d’Anguera winery in Darmós and then lunch.

After lunch, the ex-president of the Generalitat will visit Capçanes winery.
Plans have been made for a short press-conference around 1pm at Joan d’Anguera winery in Darmós.
