“Message in a bottle” is the headline used by the English language magazine of Catalonia, ‘Catalonia Today‘ to refer to the DO Montsant project of telling stories of the places and wines in the area, in the form of a creative project.

The DO Montsant and two of its wineries have worked together on this project known as ‘Històries i llocs’ (Stories and Places). This project has involved the labelling of 5,000 bottles of wine with stories and views of the region, the land and the wine appellation.

The idea originated with the British “Sans Façon” group and has been developed by “Idensitat” and “Priorat Centre d’Art“, supported by the DO Montsant. The participating wineries in this creative project are Celler el Masroig and Celler Aibar.
