The Montsant wine appellation has been working with a sales manager specialised in wine exports over the last few months. The idea of the D.O. (wine appellation) is to open up new markets for their wines and aid wineries, which are often small, family-run businesses to find a place in the international export market.

In the mid-term the aim is for the wineries to set up (aided by the D.O.) their own independent export association. The sales manager is Stefan Lismond, who has demonstrated a considerable amount of international experience in wine exports and who has lived in Falset for some years.
