The Montsant wine appellation has recently joined the “Wine Country” Consortium, promoted by the Reus, Valls and Tortosa Chambers of Commerce.

The rest of the wine appellations of the Tarragona province are also members. This new entity is aimed at designing a first quality wine tourism product which will also serve to promote sales of wine, wineries, holiday accommodation and restaurants which offer wines from the local D.O.s. In fact, the D.O.Montsant truly believes in wine tourism and has 13 wineries which regularly open their doors to wine tourists.
